Blue Inc.
Ring in the Blue Year with Chef Jason Santos and the 3-course dinner menu he has created for the occasion and paired with wine. Guests can also customize their menu to include a salad course, foie gras course (foie gras torchon, cranberry, chocolate brioche, candied hazelnut crumbs) or wine and champagne pairings. Chef Vittorio Ettore is offering a 3 course menu with options to please any palate. Things kick off with an amuse bouche and prosecco toast. Ducali Pizzeria & Bar
Ducali will celebrate “A Beer Drinker’s NYE,” with a special “champagne-style” beer list including Brooklyn Local 1, Unibroue Fin du Monde and Duvel Magnums. Ducali will also be serving its gluttonous Roman-style pizzas (think Tortellini or Patate), Nachos Italiano (pizza dough chips baked with mozzarella cheese, hot pepper, salami, and served with a spicy tomato sauce), and indulgent sandwiches until midnight – because, hey, there will be no tight dresses to stay slim for. Guests can also watch the ball drop on the big screen projectors.

Chef Dante de Magistris is offering an early and late seating at this suburban gem in Belmont. Guests can choose between a 3 course prix fixe menu for the first seating, or a 4 course prix fixe menu with a bubbly toast for the later seating. Menu items include: il leone (shaved fennel-arugula salad, cherry peppers, spicy olives, lemon vinaigrette), spaghetti cacao e pepe (genuine pecorino Romano Fulvi, (D.O.P Lazio), fresh cracked black pepper), branzino, begne al pistachio (chocolate-pistachio profiteroles).
All tables will receive lenticchie e cotechino (lentils and pork sausage), a classic New Year’s Eve accompaniment for prosperity in the New Year.

Lucia Ristorante is serving a traditional Italian a la carte meal all night long on New Year’s Eve at both of its locations – in Boston’s North End and in the heart of Winchester. The offerings at both locations include a champagne toast at midnight and a menu featuring Lobster Ravioli, Osso Buco, and Veal Chops Valdostana. At McGreevy’s 3rd Base Saloon, forget the champagne and get ready for a Jameson toast at midnight. Oh, and don’t worry about breaking the bank on a fancy cocktail dress or suit – anybody wearing Chuck Taylor’s will have the $10 entrance fee waived. Enjoy the end of 2011 on the two spacious levels, fully equipped with 12 HD plasma televisions and multiple projection screens withs surround sound, so there is no way the ball drop can be missed. There is also a modern Rock-themed Jukeox, three full bars, comfortable banquettes, and lounge seating (because even in Chuck Taylor’s, you can only dance for so long).

Offering a 4 course prix fixe menu composed of traditional New Year’s Eve Italian food, wine and a champagne flight, Chef Damien DiPaola invites guests to salute the beginning of the New Year at Ristorante Damiano as is customary in Italy. Menu items include: Cream of asparagus with truffles and parmigiano, Penne Bolognese, Rack of lamb with red wine and rosemary sauce, and Pandoro. Every third course, regardless of choice, is served with lentils and cottechino for good luck, as the pork is said to represent the riches of the land and the lentils are said to symbolize money or good luck. The final course is paired with a glass of prosecco to toast the New Year.

There will be no chance of missing the ball drop as all six of Vito’s flat screen televisions will be displaying the countdown to midnight all night long. And don’t forget to wear red underwear as Italians believe that this brings good luck for the upcoming year.
