DigiRevCon Roundup

On Friday, hundreds of marketers gathered for the second annual DigiRevCon. The day was filled with exciting sessions from Boston Interactive, MAVRCK, Influence Central, Uber, 36creative, Jebbit, Outbrain, Centro, Boston Harbor Distillery, and Rue La La. The event was a hit, and the hashtag #DigiRev15 even trended in Boston!

At 8:30, attendees flooded into the Space 57 lobby for registration and coffee. The doors opened, and 451 Marketing Founding Partner AJ Gerritson kicked off the day.

AJ then introduced the first session of the day, “Context First: A New Approach to Digital Engagement” with Matt Naffah of Boston Interactive. Matt spoke about removing friction from the consumer experience.

Up next was Lyle Stevens of MAVRCK with “The Power of the Everyday Consumer,” focusing on micro-influencers.

After a mid-morning break, Stacy DeBroff of Influence Central got the facts straight about Millennials with “Must-Know Insights about Millennials.”

Then, to end the morning, Nick Mathews of Uber spoke to co-branding and marketing with his session “Creating Real-World Experiences with Digital Platforms.”

After an action-packed morning, attendees and speakers took a break for a delicious lunch.

With refreshed minds, Brian Grossman and Steve Gabriel of 36creative filled the room with laughs with their session “The Evolution of Branding.”

Following 36creative was the Digital Advertising Landscape panel, moderated by 451 Marketing’s Francis Skipper. Friday’s panel consisted of Darryl Singer of Centro, Larry Ostuka of Outbrain, and Jonathan Lacoste of Jebbit. Together, they brought fresh insights for marketing in 2016.

After an afternoon break, attendees returned to their seats, prepared for Rhonda Kallman’s session “Pouring it on: Building Breakthrough Brands in the Beverage World.” Rhonda inspired the crowd with the story of the struggles and successes she has experienced in the beverage industry.

Lawler Kang of Rue La La’s session was the perfect ending to the day. Titled “Peace, Love, and Engagement: A Novel Approach to Supporting Your People,” Lawler presented his values-based philosophy on how to bring new levels of engagement to organizations.

To end the day, AJ Gerritson gave closing remarks, and gave away Celtics tickets to the winner of the #DigiRev15 Twitter contest, @RachaelFster:
