Under the Radar: LinkedIn Passwords

Four years ago, LinkedIn was hacked, and apparently 6.5 million passwords were stolen. However, it turns out that 117 million passwords were breached. These 117 million passwords are now on sale on the black market. Because people tend to repeat passwords for different accounts, hackers are now more likely to gain access to multiple accounts per individual.

LinkedIn users should change their passwords as soon as possible to protect themselves from being hacked. For more information, click here.

Tool of the Week: Andriod Apps

Your phone already knows your location and the weather, which might be creepy enough. Now, your phone can take that information and react accordingly. This week at the Google I/O conference, new tools with this capability were revealed.

Now, your alarm clock could decide when you should wake up based on the time that you go to sleep. Or, if you’re out on a jog, your phone will play music according to your pace.

What do you think? Creepy or convenient?
